Banda de San Pedro, mid 1950's
Website of the Day
The Great House is located in the renowned Fort George area and is just 100 meters from the Caribbean Sea. Around the corner stands the historic Fort Point Lighthouse at the entrance to the Belize Harbor and adjacent to the Baron Bliss Memorial. This Belizean landmark was built in 1927 by talented local craftsmen and still retains its beauty, grace and charm. Originally built as a family home, this wonderful structure still provides the warmth and comfort reminiscent of the early colonial times of Belize. Only 100 meters from the Caribbean Sea, and a 10 minute walk from the city center. Our colonial heritage and ambience are faithfully preserved in all of our twelve guestrooms.
