Hi, my name is Marcos Cucul, a native of Belize from the Kekchi (Que qchi) tribe. Because of severe oppression to the indigenous Que qchi and Mopan Maya people in Guatemala at the end of the 18th century, my ancestors emigrated from Guatemala to resettle in the south of Belize. I have worked 3 years for the British army in Belize, as a jungle survival guide, and 10 years as a specialized vertical caving and jungle guide specialist and trainer. We provide you a way to see all the adventure in Belize, the original authentic way via a Maya guide, let these belizeans take you on a true adventure in the jungles of belize, caving, tubing.

BATSUB Bell 212 helicopter over the Blue Hole
Final flight for the Bell 212 helicopter in Belize

Thirty-nine years of Army Aviation history have drawn to a close in Belize, with the final flight from a Bell 212 helicopter from 25 Flight Army Air Corps.

25 Flights are there to support BATSUB, the British Army Jungle Training Unit, but Army helicopters have been in the skies over the dependency since 1972, and before that the RAF.

This marks the latest chapter in the drawdown of British forces in Belize.
