Harrison Ford's boat while they were filming "Mosquito Coast"
That yacht, the Mariner III, returned to Belize for the movie 'After the Storm.'
Harrison got around, he didn't stay locked up in a room somewhere. He was out and about, he loved being aroung the people of Belize. Privacy was always an issue with his entarauge, we all respected his privacy, so not too many photos were taken.
The Maya that were actors came in from Panama. The movie crew rented a bus to go pick them up at the airport. He went to Francis Coppola’s place in the mountains.
Joseito Sosa:
Yes I remember this yacht I serve onboard it as a bar tender one night when they had a small gather aboard it. I was working for Eurocaribe Shipping Company at the time and they were Agent for the Yacht while they were making the movie.
Wellington Chee:
I met and was introduced to Harrison Ford by my father-in-law Tony Vega Sr. because he had a part in the movie and we were invited to the Fort George Hotel to view some runs. I also saw Mr. Ford at a shooting at the River mouth to the yacht which was anchored just off the bar of the river. I was told he rented that yacht. Was also at some of the various locations where they did some shootings - Gracie Rock, bring the Airport by the Belize River, one of the short cut in one of those bough after St George's Caye and also when they did the storm scene on S.P
Karen Furness:
I was an extra on the yacht during filming of After the Storm. Spent 13 hours in the heat, in a wig and shoes that killed me, only to make the final cut for about 6 seconds in total!
