Miss Independence Succotz 2012, Vannia Pat
The winner of Miss Independence was the beautiful Miss Vannia Pat. I was hanging out with her father quite a bit by the stage and he was absolutely brimming with pride about his daughter.
San Jose Succotz is a village/very small town that has been in the same spot (some say) for 10,000 years, below the Xununtanich Mayan pyramid, which has only been there for about 1200 years. Alongside the scenic white water rapids of the Mopan river, in Western Belize, on the highway toward the Western border with Guatemala.
