Parrots using termite nest for their own nest
With a lack of available nest cavities in many of the pine savannas, some breeding pairs have to resort on using termite nests.
They usually don't do this, but the forest has been decimated around there and they will use whats available next. We hope that the data we are gathering will help the Forest Dept and other GoB agencies to make the right decisions after this.
