Second photo: Harold Usher: Beautiful picture of the front (gate and fence) of the then Entrance to the Governor's Residence property and St. Hilda's (girls) College (Anglican) facing each other, in Belize City, Belize. My aunt, Ina Eveline Edith Usher. O.B.E., was the principal of St. Hilda's College in the 1930's, until her untimely passing at the age of 46, in 1939 (the same year this Post Card was mailed). In her days the students (all girls) were not allowed to walk the streets in more than two's and my grandfather, John Purcell Usher, lived at 52 Regent Street (House still exist and recently redecorated), would always be standing at his gate watching to see which girls would break the rules, as they passed by. More recently, my sister-in-law, Rev'd Linda Moguel was the Principal in the 1970's/80's. Note: The College was/is built on a part of the Anglican property, which also occupies the FAMOUS St. John's Anglican Cathedral in Belize City.

Albert Paul Avila: 1660 to 1820 = named Front Street
1821 to 2021 = named Regents Street
2021 to ? = named Dame Minta Gordon
