Subspecies of Thamnophis proximus (Ribbon snake) eating a toad
Totally harmless by the way! (Tell that to the toad...)
Interestingly enough, species in the Thamnophis genus eat toads, and through a process of muscular bio-accumulation can use their toxin to also become poisonous.
This means that if something attempts to eat it, it may be toxic. (This doesn't mean venomous or dangerous to humans though, its harmless) Unless you attack it with your teeth, and digest it!
Those are great snakes to have around, they get rid of rodents
