Amazing face of a Laemanctus serratus (iguana) at the Fireburn Reserve in Corozal District
The colors on each scale are so vivid and vibrant. Kept me company while I had lunch. He was so still I didn't realise he was there. Until I looked up.
Northern Belize species. In Cayo we have only L. longipes. Both are rarely seen. They tend to stay in the canopy probably.
