Neddy Urbina: When Belize Sugar Industries was established in Orange Walk Town,Tate & Lyle, a beautiful private golf course was created for the mostly English staff that lived in the gated compound.The early seventies and eighties saw a lot of the British forces senior officers and friends enjoying golf at BSI.No Belizeans that I can recall were invited.
