Aristolochia grandiflora or Pelican Vine, one of the the world's largest flowers
On my walk with my three dogs I encountered an exotic flower/vine near the river.
It is supposed to be one of the world's largest flowers. It emits an odor that smells like rotting meat, attracting flies. The flower is heart shaped & can be 4-7" wide & has a tail that can be up to 24" long. The leaves can be up to 10" wide.
