Cojoba graciliflora: A very fancy way of spreading your seeds, on a red spiral
Cola de coche, Cojoba graciliflora, Fabaceae. John Crow Bead, frijolillo are some common names.
Cojoba arborea (Barbajolote) is a similar but distinct species. C. arborea is capable of being a very large canopy to emergent tree and has longer fruits. C. graciliflora is mostly a shrub or very small tree, the leaves with up to 5 pairs of pinnae and <20 pairs of leaflets per pinna). C. arborea has 7 or more (often around 20) pairs of pinnae and >20 pairs of leaflets per pinna. So, leaves of C. arborea are much larger than those of C. graciliflora
