Looking down on the barrier reef from a Tropic Air flight
These views never gets old for us... every day, every flight, a different scene.
Our barrier reef is the largest reef complex in the Atlantic-Caribbean area and the world's second largest reef system.
The Belize Barrier Reef is home to over 500 fish species, as well as endangered species including sea turtles, manatees, and the American crocodile. It is one of only two living organisms that can be seen from outer space.
