Construction of the National Assembly building in Belmopan, 1968-69
So many influential people, decisions and heated debates have graced this building since its construction.
It was a designed by Pauling from England and George Price. There was a machine named the nation builder which I saw only once, working across from where the football field is now when entering Belmopan. I understood there was only 2 of those machines In this hemisphere. That equipment had huge cutting blades at the bottom like lawn mowers do and 2 apparatus...or protruding somewhat hydraulic tentacles at both sides.
