Here is a recent aerial image under the Open Reef GIS project. One can make out a possible foundation off the dock on the land which matches the photo.
The latest release, and fourth country in Holmes Cay’s series, brings us to Belize with a handful more firsts. For one, this is “the first 100% tropically aged, cask-strength rum from Belize to be offered for sale in the U.S.” It’s also the company’s first “dependent bottling,” meaning that the bottling/packaging was done in conjunction with/on the site of the distillery itself, rather than being independently bottled off site. It seems the founder is an Eric Kaye, how appropriate.

Holmes Caye, long ago. Now known as Simmonds Caye
The island once known as Holmes Caye in Belize is called Simmonds Caye on the maps. This caye is the southernmost island along the lee chain of cayes that run along the eastern boundary of Grennel's Channel, about 12 miles southeast of Belize City, down by Robinson Point area.
