 The Duke meets our very own Madame Liz, Gwendolyn Lizarraga, April 1962. 1961 marked the first year that women were allowed to run in the country's national elections. In April 1961 she became the first woman elected to the National Assembly of British Honduras. Subsequently she was appointed Minister of Education, Housing and Social Services, making her the first female Minister in the country.
 Liz Valdez: My dad Luciano Valdez was the chairman of the village of Succotz when HRH Prince Phillip came to Belize. This picture was taken on the highway in front of the ferry in San Jose Succotz. My dad is the one with the mic. It was in front of Tia Feli's house on the highway! 1975. Also shown is Don Merejildo Panti.
 Jean Burn Yates: Here is a picture of Prince Philip taken in Belize after Hattie thanking the Government workers who participated in the response and recovery from the aftermath of the hurricane. That is my handsome brother that he is speaking with.

 Hector Silva meets the Grand Master of the Order of the British Empire in 1962. He met his twice, both as the Mayor of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, and as a recently elected Member of the House of Representatives, representing his beautiful Cayo District.
 Marta Cho: This is a photo of my Dad and others who danced Zapateado for Prince Phillip's visit to Corozal Town. My father is on the right, next to him is Ms Elsie Worrel, to her left is Mayela Monima.

Prince Philip visited Belize in April 1962, 1975, November 1988 and and accompanied by the Queen in February 1994.
Billy Frank Thornton: Price Phillip visited the Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve and planted the now gynormous tree in front of the visitors center.
