As we enter the month of September, Belizeans look forward to the days of celebration commemorating the historic Battle of St. George's Caye and Independence Day. Celebrating under the theme "Many Origins, One Home, Belize", the San Pedro Town Council joins the rest of the country in honoring the hardworking people that fought for Belize's independence. This year, the San Pedro Town Council has taken a different approach to the festivities, working closely with non-profit organizations, service groups and businesses to help plan the celebrations. The San Pedro Town Council invites the general public to join in this year's festivities of the September Celebrations 2000.
