Lion Abel Guerrero distributes zinc to hurricane victims

Bishop Osmond Peter Martin of Belize City has sent a sizable amount of zinc and nails to San Pedro for distribution to those affected by Hurricane Keith. People who suffered damage to their homes requested help from the San Pedro Lions Club and after assessment of their damages, were given the much needed materials last Saturday.

Bishop Martin sent 1,500 pieces of zinc and all were distributed. Because  this supply did not meet the demand, another shipment of 800 pieces of zinc plus nails is expected very soon. The San Pedro Lions Club is in charge of the distribution and asks those who have requested materials to be patient as the supplies are coming in separate orders.
