|Lion Baldemar Graniel accepts EKG machine from Lydia Smith
The San Pedro Lions Clinic has recently become the recipient of an electrocardiograph (EKG) machine, an instrument that records the electrical activity of the heart. The donation of this valuable piece of equipment came from Lydia Smith, a supervisor in the cardiopulmonary department of the Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine. Ms. Smith, a frequent visitor to San Pedro, decided to bring the machine with her on this trip in the hopes it would be put to good use at the clinic.
Clinic Chairman Baldemar Graniel thanked Ms. Smith for this kind gesture and assured her that the heart-monitoring machine will greatly benefit the clinic's patients.
The public is reminded that the Lions Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a half day on Saturday.
