The lovely Jamera Craft has accepted the post of Miss Lions Queen 2007-2008.

New Lions President Melly Kumul has taken over the presidency.

Charming 17-year-old Jamera Craft has graciously accepted the honor of serving as San Pedro Lions Queen for the year 2007/08. This stunning, active and popular young lady is currently attending San Pedro High School where she is majoring in Business. As Lions Queen, Jamera will be present for all Lion meetings, fundraisers, and events, lending her support and assistance. When asked why accept such a noble position, Jamera answered, “It is a wonderful honor and will provide me with a great experience that I will take with me for the rest of my life. The Lions Club is the biggest service organization in the world and I am honored to be a part of it.”

A big event that Jamera will also be participating in is the Zone Conventions where Lions from the entire country of Belize and some from the neighboring countries will gather here in San Pedro Town to celebrate Lionism.

Jamera is no stranger to the limelight. She can be recognized as one of the gorgeous girls that took part in last year’s Miss San Pedro pageant. As a contestant, Jamera blew the crowd away with her beauty, grace, poise and walked away with the first runner up title. Jamera’s coronation will be announced at a later date. The San Pedro Sun wishes Jamera the very best in her year of reign as Miss Lions.
