New Year’s 2008 arrives with style!

Fido’s Bar was rocking with live music and the dance floor was packed with folks who could not resist the contagious tunes. At midnight the crowd was showered with balloons and the party continued long into the night.

Holiday Hotel’s annual New Year’s Eve bash was hopping with partygoers. Dj Habo provided the great tunes to dance in the new year.

Dennis Wolfe and the Usual Suspects entertained the party at the Road Kill Bar (left) where the crowd danced and enjoyed the evening while ringing in the New Year.

Mix master extraordinaire Ernie at BC’s Bar (left) keep the celebration libations coming all night long.

Bayside Bar (right) hosted a New Year’s Bash, complete with party hats, noise makers, necklaces and Jell-O shots for the merry makers.

The party continued on the beach were people along the town enjoyed the sea breeze and partied under the stars (right).

The night air was full with the rhythmic sounds of music emanating from the clubs as well as live music on the beach where jammin’ Garifuna drummers entertained the crowds with their infectious beats.

After hours of partying, the sure cure to a possible hangover is some good BBQ at the park. King of the grill, Lion, offered a variety of grilled meats to tame the late night munchies.

People around the world celebrated the end of 2007 and the beginning of a 2008 last Monday night and the folks in San Pedro rang in the New Year with great enthusiasm. Several of the local bars and clubs hosted special celebrations and the evening was full of party options for revelers young and old. After the stroke of midnight the parties continued into the wee hours of the morning and a grand time was had by all.
