A large crowd of UDP supporters proudly dressed their golf carts with their party colors and peacefully but enthusiastically and energetically joined in the victory parade. Hyped party supporters chanted “UDP: All The Way,” as they danced and waved flags high in the air. The parade ended at the Central Park, where the newly re-elected members of the San Pedro Town Council addressed the multitude.
First to speak was the UDP Executive member Manuel Lieva, who congratulated the UDP 7 on their victory. Each councilor also went to the podium and briefly addressed the supporters all echoing their gratitude for their support and promising to bring betterment to the municipality. Mayor Elect Paz explained that while it was a hard fight battle, she is pleased that the citizenry came out to support her team.
