Señorita mas fina, who’s that girl?
She is no other than Costa Rican beauty Jennifer Miranda Rodriguez. The 19-year-old brunette is five feet seven inches tall with deep green eyes. Currently she is a student of Theatrical Arts at the University of Costa Rica and is studying the English language at the Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano.
Jennifer enjoys acting, singing modeling and reading. Having participated in the Miss Costa Rica 2008 pageant, she strongly believes that she can do a fantastic job representing her home country at the 2009 Reina de la Costa Maya Internacional.
The Costa Maya Committee proudly announces that all countries participating in this year’s pageant have stated, “yes” to being a part of the prestigious event. All countries have submitted the names and profiles of their beauty ambassadors and are all eager to find out who will wear this year’s crown.
The Costa Maya Festival attractions:
Thursday: Entertainment will include music by Belizean artist Jackie Castillo, performances by the San Pedro Dance Company, serenades by Mario Mejia as well as music from the New Generation Band.
Friday:The Belize Dance Company presents the Flag Dance while Mexico will present La Alma Caribeña, a group of 16 from Chetumal, Quintana Roo. From El Salvador, DC Creation which will highlight a bit of classic dancing, with a mix of modern/contemporary dances as well. Straight from Guatemala, Mario Mejia will make his Belizean debut, after which the stage will rock with Supa G.
Saturday: Abner Babil– singer/musician will take to the stage. Performances by La Alma Caribeña complete with exquisite costumes will wow the crowd! Of course, the big show of the night will be the international performer Cristian Castro.
Sunday: Belizean comedian Dhillon Jones will begin the “laugh out loud” show followed by the jokes and comedic act of Mexico’s Adrian Uribe.
