Volleyball was in the air and Hotel Playador's beach was once again the setting as 12 teams took to the court in aid of Honduras. The tournament, held on Sunday, November 29th was presented jointly by San Pedro Town Board and the Hotel Playador. The event was a big success with more than $1000 being raised for the hurricanes victims.
All $20 registration fees, and 10 % of the food and beverage sales for the day were donated. A private donation was also made by Larry Parker of Reef Divers.

Second prize, consisting of $300, lunch for four at Elvi's Kitchen, one pizza, case of water and case of soft drinks went to Caye Caulker. Team members were: Tico, Rally, George and Oscar. Bottom Line was the third place team and received $200, lunch for two at Celi's, one pizza, case of water and soft drinks. Team players were: Ruben, Carlos, Rafael, and Elias Pacheco.
A big thank you goes out to the following sponsors who donated prizes for this event: Belize Yacht Club, San Pedro Distributors, Fantasy World, Ramon's Village, Belize Bank, Discovery Expeditions as well as the above mentioned donors.
A large crowd was on hand to cheer on their favorite teams and music followed to keep them entertained with the Unity Band. All in all, a good day for fun, friendship and charity.
