Not at all L. It's an old marketing tool, up the price on something and some people will buy it only because it is more expensive. Supposedly proving they can afford it, thus the reason for those big Macy's (or previously Hudsons) bags they get to carry around. Unfortunately it's usually people who can't afford it in the first place.
