I wasn't sure what Marion Jones' connection with Belize was, but I see on the bz-culture mailing list someone has posted a lot of details: Her mother is Belizean, and Marion holds Belizean and American citizenship. However, she's competing in the Olympics for the U.S. Wouldn't it have been something if she had competed for Belize?!
