Blancaneaux Lodge is in the Mountain Pine Ridge about 2 1/2 hours by car from Belize City. Wonderful place. Last year, Francis Ford Coppola also bought Turtle Inn in Placencia and has renamed it Blananeaux's Turtle Inn. It's on the beach just north of Placencia village. It reopened only a couple of months ago, and while more changes are planned, we are getting good reports on the resort and the restaurant.
