Not many "hut on the beach" style accommodatons left on Ambergris Caye. Only ones can think of beside Ramon's are Paradise Hotel, Mata Chica, a few units at Victoria House, Captain Morgan's and Exotic Caye/Playador. All of these except Paradise Hotel and Playador are pretty upscale.

Many of the mainland jungle lodges still do thatch, as do a few places in Placencia, Hopkins and Caye Caulker.
