C2C. So um what do all the qualified and highly trained dog trainers and behaviourists do? They work with problem dogs - mostly adult dogs. Many animal welfare organisations - of which many have campaigned to have Cesar Millan's programme removed from broadcasting - also employ full time behaviourists to work with problem adult dogs. What Cesar does is not science or magic and the vast majority of animal professionals produce better and more long lasting results without resorting to myths, coercion, force or dangerous methods. The only good thing that has come out of this for the profession is that business has picked up amongst those who have watched the TV programme, tried it at home or even worse, gone to a 'cowboy' trainer who thinks he is Cesar Millan and had their dog so badly damaged that they have to pay through the nose to have it put right by people who are qualified and trained to do so.
