You've had the first and the last word here....mind if we leave it at that, rather than 'beg for argument'?

Happy staying all, no matter where you choose!

Some like the sun and moon rises, others the sun and moon sets... All get to see the Sea, because after all, it is an island:-)

Some see the reef and the breaking waves, others the calm waters of the bay....

Some like the quiet of the 'wrong side' others don't think Caye Caulker is busy enough no matter where you are on the island...

Just have fun. Spread the wealth. Come back again soon!

bobkat were you there over easter weekend? did you notice or make friends with any local Belizeans staying at your hotel?

thanks for the responses. not begging for argument at all, by the way, just expressing my humble opinion.

we left on holy saturday and didn't get a chance to make close friends with any locals, unfortunately. everyone on the island was very friendly and kind. we didn't see any place or business that we did not like.

i did not mean to degrade any hotel on the beautiful island, i just wanted to reaffirm that we were very satisfied with our choice. please don't read any more into this response other than is written here. we loved the island and everyone we met and found every establishment very accomodating.

Bobkat -- all aside we are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back soon. North, South, East or West -- Belize is the best. We hope you will return soon.
