Six excited people will be arriving in AC on
4/26. I am an accountant and have made it
through this tax season reading this wonder-
ful message board late at night after a long
day. We have a few last minute questions if
someone could help. Where and when is the
Chicken Drop? Does anyone have any comments
on kayaking in the lagoons with Seaduced?
What about a boating day trip on the Winnie
Estelle? We were there in 1993 and are
excited about coming back and bringing our
children (adults) this time. Any comments
on the above would be appreciated.

Chicken drop is on Wednesday nights just past Ruby's Hotel.

I've just got to say it! The chicken drop, what's up with all the excitement over it. All my friends talked about what fun it is and finally I got around to going to it the last time I was there. I thought it was a lot of lining up and standing around for not much. Everyone else still seemed to be excited and most all of you talk about the drop being a great time. What did I miss? :^)

Anything can be fun, it's what you make of it. I think most of it is just the fact that they have made a game out of this that is the most amusing! And as long as you have a cold drink in your hand, there shouldn't be a problem joining in on the fun!

To be exact, the Chicken Drop is at the Pier Lounge (Spindrift Hotel). That next to the Blur Hole Dive Center (north of Rubie's). At least that's what I was told when I asked. It's a gambling game. There's a big numbered board. You bet on numbers (or something like that). A chicken is "dropped" onto the bord. The number it finally lands on is the winner. Just a little something silly and fun, I guess. It's all what you ake it! Belize it!

Please don't get me wrong. I love silly and fun (they are my middle names). I don't know why I didn't get a bigger kick out of the chicken drop. It just didn't do it for me even though I had the cold drink in my hand. Maybe I was just over-tired from having too much fun.
