from a friend....

Yesterday a friend was in Belize City (visiting from Toledo) and dropped his wallet near his vehicle. Somebody found the wallet, found him at his hotel and returned the wallet. It still had his $BZ300 in it!

On a not so good note, i saw a photo of the road in Freetown that was just cemented. They (who exactly is not clear) have already torn up a big hunk to do something under the road. People were saying utility work but that is not clear. You think maybe that could have been coordinated so they did that a few weeks ago while the road was already torn up? Yikes.

not unique, by any means, to BC. I think it is an unwritten universal public work regulation. "Wait until the road is repaved, then tear it up & do the underground utility work."
