Blackhawk just went by, flying very slowly over the reef, heading south toward the Tres Cocos cut.

From the San Pedro Sun.

We have grown an affection and respect for this missing man as well. He choose to spend his days here on La Isla, and forever he will now be a part of us.

I never knew Wrangler but I feel that I've come to know him through the efforts of those determined to find him. Several feet beneath the surface of the ocean, I can hear the engines of the search vessels and when I surface for air, I hear the roar of the blackhawks. I've never seen anything like this in Belize... You can tell by the assets on station that we're searching for someone extraordinary. Two weeks ago only a few souls on this island knew what a Ranger was... Today, everyone knows what it means to be one; that it is in fact a brotherhood and that others will always come for you, in strength and in numbers. RLTW!

Astrum Helicopters has been out on the reef since early this morning. They are going even slower up and down the reef than the Blackhawks have been going, staying in one spot for a bit before going on, section by section.

We live across from the cut where the accident happened and where there has been a lot of search focus. No sign of search activity at this time, but it's still early in the morning .....
Wind is up again, water choppy and murky.

Here's a webcam that can help you see the weather conditions. It's about 1 1/2 miles north of the bridge.
