I have noticed on the Belize Weather forecasts that they sometimes post small craft warnings. Does this mean that the dive boats can't go out? How about the water taxi from Belize City? Since March is usually a windy month, will it be more diffcult to book tours?

thanks for any info - we have booked 2 weeks in March on Caye Caulker and are counting down the days!

If you are here for two weeks you may expect a few rain showers.a few windy days, Without the breeze its to hot and your going to have misquitos at times. March is a busy month, you will have no problem with the dive/snorkle boats at all, The water taxis will be running just like the postman,no wind sleet or hail stops them, except a hurricane. The choppy seas are usually refering to outside the reef. So you should come and enjoy.

thanks - Looks like we should take the weather as it comes. Any suggestions for fish dinners?

All restaurants have at least one decent snapper dinner. Feel free to try them all. Some recent fish dinners I have had...

Coconut Encrusted Snapper - Habaneros ($$$) - in the top three pieces of fish I have ever had, maye even in the top two...

Broiled Snapper - Sids ($) - tasty, basic, and down right fresh.

Snapper/Conch Quesadilla - Rainbow ($$) - great cheezy bite any time of day.

Curry Grouper - Home - Look for the birds flying in a group around the front or back of the island, and you will find a fisherman cleaning his catch. We prepared our grouper with tomatoes, onions, green pepper, curry, salt/pepper and lime. Wrap in foil and bake 20min each side at 225 F. mmmmmmmm
