Does anyone know if there any manatee tours out of Belize City? The only ones I'm familiar with are around Caye Caulker, so I don't even know if they offer them off of the mainland. Thanks in advance.

I know it's farther than Belize City but several years ago I believe we did a tour out of Placencia to Monkey River and part of the tour included manatees.

I've heard there are some great tours at Gales Point.

All the tours, whether from the caye or mainland, go to Swallow Caye, the threatened manatee 'sanctuary' off Belize City. See them now before we tip the balance.
