Yesterday I re-registered our boat ($50 BZ). Rumor is they will be stationed out here permanent . If you need anything done captain test ,inspection go see them . I don't have there local # but the Belize City office should be able to provide .

The BPA is stationed full time on the island at the south marina. They are building an office at the marina.

At the moment they are staying in a private house in the San Pablo area untill the building is finished.

Has anyone announced this ?

The BPA officer came by and told us that the other day.

They will send new personnel out every two weeks so their local phone number will be their personal cell phones until they have a permanent office.

Sure makes life more convenient . We have more & more services on this island everyday ,this could turn out to be a nice lifestyle .

Yea, things are looking up
To bad the location isn't near the water.
These guys have some serious transportation issues.
Hea why not put their office on the end of the old municipal pier?

Their main job I believe is to monitor the ports (marina), so having an office on the back side makes more sense. At least we no longer have to fly them out to the island or take our boats to the city!

Life is getting easier on the island, but lets not tell everyone or they will ALL want to move here!

Their office in San Pablo is across the street from a canal - so easily accessible by most boats that are operated here.

It's my house they are renting......:( Their office should be finished by April...:)
