The San Pedro Public Library is looking to expand our resources for older students , high school, college, and university. We are trying to build our collection of home schooling materials. If you have a student who is homeschooling , please consider donating used texts to our collection.
Also see you January 31st for our radiothon, book sale, and bake sale. We have musicians, poets, high school skits, and book signings with our local writers.

I'm coming down from the States in February to work on a literacy program - I'll check around here before I leave to look for materials for your library.

Thanks so much. Come by and check us out as well. We may be able to supply space for you as well. As I said in another thread, a big issue is the need to learn English by new immigrants.

The resources for older students - would this be textbooks, reading books - fiction and nonfiction? Give me an idea of what is needed and I can round up some things - I'll be arriving in San Pedro on Feb. 8, so I still have time to find what you might need.
