The Neil Fraser Historic Belizean Galleria

At the official opening ceremony for the Cayo
Bridge, Governor Sir John Hunter, with DC
Hamilton Anderson at his side, walks across
the new span. Sir John, because of his
penchant for using a uniquely English piece
of profanity, was known in Belize as
"Bloody John."

A view of the river at Cayo showing women washing clothes on the
rocks. The new bridge can be seen in the background.
