Beauty, poise, intelligence and elegance are but a few of the many
qualities possessed by the soon-to-be-crowned Miss San Pedro Lions
Queen, Nicole Nuñez. This vivacious Belizean beauty has accepted the
honor and responsibilities of representing the San Pedro Lions Club for
the year 2004-2005.
Charming Nicole is the daughter of Concha and Bob Nuñez and the
granddaughter of San Pedro Lions Treasurer Abel Guerrero Sr. and Lion
Auxiliary Martha Guerrero. Miss Nuñez is a graduate of San Pedro High
School and is presently a first year business student at St. John's
College/Junior College.
A very popular young lady, Miss Nuñez was voted Miss San Pedro High
School in 2002 and was a lead dancer for Barbara's Dance Group.
Nicole Nuñez's official coronation will take place at an upcoming
gathering to be announced. She will be crowned by the reigning San
Pedro Lions Queen, Emily Verde. Following the coronation, Miss Nuñez's
first official duty will be to attend the Belize Lions Zone 59 National
Convention scheduled for April 23rd - 25th in San Estevan Village in
the Orange Walk District.
The San Pedro Sun joins all members of the San Pedro Lions Club and
the island community in wishing Miss Nicole Nuñez all the best during
her one-year reign as San Pedro Lions Queen.
