Located
three miles south of the airstrip (the only pavement on the
island), Caribe Island Resort (formerly known as Chateau Caribe)
is a quick bicycle, golf cart or boat ride to the village.
The
300 ft. dock provides an excellent swimming area, the beach is
"manicured," and the fresh water pool offers an area
for the professional tanners. Tropical breezes and rustling palms
add to the tranquility of Caribe Island Resort.
The Sea Shells Bar at poolside serves a variety of
exotic cocktails and feature a daily happy hour from 4 - 6 pm. The Aquarium
Restaurant specializes in tasty Belizean Cuisine -- a mix of Creole,
Spanish and Maya flavors fill the air and invites you to come sample our
culture. One bite of our Coconut pie will have you begging for more.

or the diving
enthusiast, Belize offers the world's longest living barrier reef. We're home to the famous Blue Hole, manta
rays, giant sponges, black coral and the endless canyons and walls. For the
fisherperson, we have bonefish (sometimes right off the pier), tarpon, snook
and permit along with blue and white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dorado,
kingfish, snapper and yellowtail just to name a few.
Maya ruins, howler monkeys, rainforest, rivers, caves and
waterfalls are on the mainland and perfect for day adventures. Beach
barbecues, visits to other cayes and a variety of snorkel excursions can all
be arranged through our front office. We make it our duty to find you the

aribe Island Resort is unique in its ability to serve a wide
variety of tastes. The condominiums all face east affording breathtaking
views of the barrier reef and boasts 200 feet of beachfront. The decor says
"Islands" with bright cheerful colors, weavings and plants. All suites
feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable television, phones, fully
appointed kitchens and private verandahs.
Suite Descriptions:

he Mini Suites are cozy and comfortable and will sleep up to two persons.
Perfect for the guest on the go. Tastefully decorated with all tiled floors,
large walk-in shower, one queen bed or two twins, eating table and chairs
for two.
O
ur Junior Suites will sleep up to 4 persons. A delightful
suite, perfect for honeymooners, one couple or a family. Tropical fabric
covers the sofa and chairs. There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom plus a
queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room (or 2 twin beds). There are
four penthouse suites from which to choose depending on the size of your
party.

he Manatee Suite is two-storey airy and open. It sleeps a maximum
of eight persons. One bedroom with a queen bed downstairs with it's own
bathroom. Full living room with a pull-out double bed. Upstairs you will
find an open loft area with a queen bed, one twin bed plus a small room
with one twin bed. Nice beach and garden views.

he Dolphin Suite is
two-storey with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This suite sleeps a
maximum of 6 persons and is right on the beach.

he Flamboyant suite is a
two-storey loft that sleeps a maximum of 9 persons. It has a bedroom and
bathroom dowstairs along with the living room and kitchen. Upstairs is the
master suite with a large private verandah. In the loft area you will find a
queen and a twin bed. Great beachfront views.

he Royal Suite is the
grandest of them all. It boasts two floors and is over 1800 sq. ft. There
are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. This suite will sleep up to nine
persons and looks out across the pool to the sea.

aily maid service is included. There are coin operated washing machines
available if you'd like to take home clean laundry. We offer moorage for
your boat and can arrange for your golf cart rental. Complimentary
bicycles, ocean kayaks and small sail boats are offered to our guests. Our
hotel shuttle service to town is also complimentary and there are several
trips scheduled daily. We also provide free airport transfers.

Booking and Deposit Requirements
A two night
deposit is required within 14 days of booking or suite reservations will be
cancelled automatically. Balance of total payment is due 45 days prior to
arrival. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
Cancellations
and Refunds
A full refund, less $50
per person cancellation fee to cover booking expense, will be granted if
cancellation is received no less than 45 days prior to arrival. 50% of the
deposit will be refunded for reservations cancelled 21 days prior to
scheduled arrival date. No refunds for cancellations received under 21 days
of scheduled arrival date.
