General Situation:
The Caribbean Sea An upper level trough passes through 30N60W in the Atlantic Ocean, to 25N62W, to 19N63W, 16N65W, and to 15N71W. Precipitation: A surface trough is along 25N57W in the Atlantic Ocean, to 21N61W, continuing to the island of Antigua. Precipitation: rainshowers are possible from 19N southward between 60W and 70W. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery in the entire Caribbean Sea. Persistent high pressure, to the north of the area, will support fresh to strong NE winds near the coast of Colombia during the next several days. The wind speeds in the central Caribbean Sea will increase tonight, and then remain fresh-to-occasionally strong through Tuesday.
