We are a casual, homey hotel located 1/2 mile south of San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye, Belize. We are only 150 feet from the Caribbean Sea and also have a fresh water swimming pool for your enjoyment. Seeing is Belizing! 
Our rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable.
We have 17 rooms of different sizes and
configurations.
Breakfast is served from 7:00am until 11:30am; a BIG, FULL breakfast runs about US$5.50. The grill menu served from 11:30am ranges from US$5.00 to US$12.00 for full meals. We serve a "special" everyday that usually costs about US$8.00. Our specials include dishes such as chicken & cheese enchiladas, delightfully crisp fish & chips, and Caribbean style baked fish to name a few. We have been told that we have the best American style hamburgers and fried chicken on the island. We like to think so. All the food is great, and the service is friendly.
If your group of 10 or more is budget minded, The Hideaway is the place for you. Our specialty is offering groups the best room and board value. Depending on the size of your group and your needs, we can provide accomodations and three meals for as low as US$40 per day per person. Once we discuss your needs and desires, we can put together an activity package for you as well as come up with a per day price that won't break the bank.
We have provided packages for church groups, dive groups, universities, and many others. So if
you think your group can't afford San Pedro, check us out! You may be pleasantly surprised.

We have doubles, triples, and quads. All of our rooms have private baths, most have ceiling fans, and some are air-conditioned. Some rooms have Caribbean views while others can accomodate up to
six people or more! We have something for everyone on a budget.
Our restaurant, the "Taste of Texas," features home style cooking
offering
traditional home cooked food, Texas dishes such as, chicken fried steak with
mashed potatoes and cream gravy, American hamburgers, Texas chili, great
pizzas, biscuits and gravy, etc. along with the traditional Belizean and Mexican favourites
all at reasonable prices.
