Buddy The Cowboy


 

During the depression, many enterprising photographers went from door to door with a pony, a hat, a camera, and a wallet - making overly proud mothers offers they couldn't refuse.

The entrepreneur who took this picture and sold it to my Mother found us in Ada, Oklahoma, in about 1936. Yes, I was still a good "Buddy".
