Hello again,

April has been a lot of fun. Gypsy Reel was Celt-Rocking the house, and we're really looking forward to seing and hearing them again next year. Our friend Kelly McGuire was excellent as always, and the stage got jam-packed with local musicians for some great jams. Kelly's fiddle player, Scot Johnson from Pasadena proved to us all that he is a true "Master Of The Fiddle". He plays so good that it almost hurts! John Evans, another good friend of the island is here right now with his Texas buddy Hayes Carll, performing their fantastic alternative country songs about fast-running, hard-drinking losers in love and more...
Oh yes, life is good on the island!

The month of May brings us a couple of very interesting acts from the U.S.

THE BEARFOOT GIBBY SHOW

Featuring Joseph Basstone & Fiddleman Dave

Anyone who has been living in, or coming to San Pedro for more than just a few years have met and listened to Bearfoot Gibby. The rest of you have heard about him. Now you can listen to him! Fidos is proud to present the return of this local living legend, who is taking some time off from Dolly Partons Dollywood to rock the island and jam with old and new friends.

May 24, 25, 27 and 28:

ERIN JAIMES & HER BAD HABITS
4 Nights Of Great Blues Rock!!!

Unfortunately we cant all go to Austin to experience the great music scene there, so this time were bringing Austin to San Pedro! Erin Jaimes is one of the most exciting things happening in blues music these days. Her CD You Had To Go has received lots of U.S. and international airplay, and she has shared the stage with such artists as Double Trouble and Uncle John Turner. Erin was recently featured on the TV show (Warner Bros.) "Austin Nights". Joining her in San Pedro is Banzai LaRocca on harmonica, Matt Sessions on drums, and the innovative Austin guitar legend John McVey, who's credits even includes being shot at in in places such as Foster's Blue Room in Kansas City and the Owls Club in North Little Rock.

"Talk" to y'all next month.

Until then..... Enjoy the music!
