The Costa Maya Festival

Belize's beauty ambassador for this year's Reina de la Costa Maya
Pageant. Farah may best be remembered as the sensuous Belizean beauty
immortalized in the Belize Brewing Company's 2001 Belikin Calendar,
featured as Miss March.
Farah Evans' pageant experience includes her participation
in the Miss Saint John's College Pageant, and at the Miss Belize 2003
pageant where she was a finalist. Miss Evans' academic achievements
include an Associate's Degree in Physics and Math from St. John's
College/Junior College and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering

Programmer for Naturalight Productions Limited in Dangriga. In a
telephone interview with The San Pedro
Sun, Miss Evans stated that she has already begun her
preparation for this grand event. In her spare time, she works as an
aerobics instructor in Dangriga. This, in itself, has enhanced the
physical beauty, already abundant in this Belizean woman. Assisting with
her communication and public relations skills will be Senator Therese
Rath (Farah's employer) and former Miss Belize Karen Russell. When asked
what she hopes to achieve in this pageant, Miss Evans confidently
replied, "I plan to have a wonderful time in San Pedro ñ as I always do.
I also plan to keep the Costa Maya crown on Belizean soil." Farah Evans
ended by saying, "I have a great affection for San Pedro. My best friend,
Isela Duran, lives there and through her work at Protech Belize, I was
able to conquer my fear of water in order to receive my diving
certification."
