The San Pedro Police have finally moved into their new building located next to the Fire Department on Pescador Drive. Officers now have much more space to do their work with offices accommodating one to two officers.
In addition, the new Magistrate Court and Clerk of Court office is located on the second floor, along with three jail cells.
“It is better than good,” commented Officer Gerald Sutherland. “This gives us more space to conduct our investigations and interviews,” he commented.
Other offices in the building includes a Special Branch Office, Tourism Police Office, Crime Investigation Branch, Domestic Violence Unit and a Traffic Branch Office.
The officers are now waiting for the phones to be transferred to the new building which should occur late this week, or next week.
