Farewell Message from Marisol Rojas Avila, Miss Costa Maya 2004

Queridos San Pedranos:

Beloved San Pedro,

I am pleased to have the opportunity through this medium, to bid a proper goodbye.

I want you to know that all the love and warmth that you’ve shown has left an unforgettable memory of this beautiful experience. God gave me the opportunity to represent my country in a pageant and to be able to carry in high regard my beloved Mexico.

I made an exchange just by leaving my country last year: I stole the hearts of the people of San Pedro but in exchange I left them mine.

Thank you for all your attention and you can be sure that San Pedro and its people will forever be in my heart.

A warm kiss and goodbye from your friend Marisol Rojas Avila.
