Costa Maya will officially kick off next week Thursday and with this week’s beauty ambassador the roster if finally complete. Showcasing the Mexican beauty is 23-year-old Cindy Cajuste. The lovely International Relation major speaks Spanish, English and French. In a Costa Maya interview with the candidate she had the following to say:

Q: What is your career ambition?

A: My career ambition is to become a top professional model, who’s known through out the world, a positive role model for the younger generations and also to be a successful business woman so that way I can get back to my community and country.

Q: What do you know about yourself that you did not know a year ago?

A: Now I know how strong I can be, how determined I am to achieve all my dreams and goals and I also know that I can overcome any obstacle that may present itself through my journey in life.

Q: What one friend or relative has had the most influence in your life and why?

A: That would have to be my parents. They have been a positive role model in my life. I have watched them work so hard to get all, their dreams and wishes. They also have taught me that education is a very important key in life; they are the best example I could ever have.

Q: If you could live anywhere in the Mundo Maya, where would it be and why?

A: Definitely my country, Mexico, because being Mexican makes me proud and full of life. I am sure that other countries from the Maya world have as lot to offer but to me my country is exceptional.

Q: What do you relieve is the biggest problem facing the world today?

A: I believe it is war because it brings hunger, pain, poverty, and negative things to every part of the world.

Q: You are still very young and learning … but what do you think is the best lesson life has ever taught you?

A: Definitely life has taught me to be more patient because that way I can make better choices. Good things come to those who wait.

The success of the band continued with Gracias por todo in 1997. Two years later, Los Mismos released Encuentro con el mileno which was followed in 2002 with Sin mirar atras. To date the band has made a name for themselves and have released countless albums and had several hit songs including Me esta doliendo dejarte, Que bonito, No eres facil de olvidar and Todo me recuerda a ti.
