With the grand 25th Independence Anniversary of Belize to be celebrated this year, the Miss San Pedro organizers are planning a patriotic and fantastic show. The Pageant which has been slated for September 2nd, 2006 at the Old Football Field has people already wondering who the new San Pedro beauty ambassador will be.
The six girls have been seen around town attending various events and functions. Amber Ayala (Jaguar’s Temple) Candy Bradley (Ramon’s Village Resort), Katrina Bradley (Victoria House), Amalia Cal (Castillo’s Hardware) Jamira Craft (Fido’s Courtyard), and Liliana Nuñez (Alliance Bank) were invited last Wednesday by the exotic Maruba Resort to spend a day enjoying the resort’s facilities. SEArious Adventures transported the girls to a day of fun and horseback riding. Taking advantage of the beauty of the resort, gorgeous shots were taken of the ladies by official photographer of the pageant Shamir Guerrero. The jewelry the beauties were wearing came courtesy of Little Old Craft Shop (Ricardo Zetina), Amber’s Jewelry and Israel Zetina.
On Sunday, the contestants had yet another photo shoot. This time it took place on the glorious beaches of Captain Morgan’s Retreat. The first rate resort hosted the girls to lunch and a gorgeous sunny day in La Isla Bonita.
Unfortunately, because of circumstances beyond her control, Miss Castillo’s Hardware’s Amalia Cal was unable to attend both photo sessions. However, she still remains as a contestant for the pageant.
