Imer Chi (l) and Caudio Azueta (r) are the latest addition to our traffic department.

The San Pedro Traffic Department is proud to announce its new traffic wardens to the public. Claudio Azueta and Imer Chi have joined the team of traffic officers for the island. As the growth of vehicle rises, it is found necessary to have enough man power to have safe streets from reckless drivers and repeat offenders of traffic laws. The team now consists of 5 officers working every day for the betterment of traffic flow in the community.

Claudio and Imer have been assigned the responsibilities to direct the flow of traffic, have check points, patrol the streets for vehicle violation and issue tickets where violations are made. These two individuals hail from La Isla Bonita and state they will perform their duties to the best of their abilities. With their positive attitudes, assertiveness and tact for the job, it is with no doubt that they will meet their expectations. This week, the guys were given a run down on the job under the supervision of their experienced colleagues. They were taught about the traffic regulations, how to complete and issue tickets for parking offences, methods of note taking and writing short reports, and techniques of giving evidence in court. Welcome aboard guys!
