As always, the San Pedro Lions Club was ready to celebrate the Christmas holidays and things got on in full swing with their annual Senior Citizen’s Dinner. Senior citizens from the island were treated to a delicious turkey dinner, dessert and drinks. Not to mention, throughout the night, raffles were conducted and everyone had an opportunity to win a great prize.
This annual event runs in conjunction with similar activities carried out by Lions Clubs all over the world, it recognizes the contributions that seniors make in their communities. Many took the time to thank the Lion members for their continued patronage towards them. After this magnificent feast, everybody settled down for the entertainment. The Rompe Raja band was on hand to set the mood right. With cheery music flowing through the air it’s no wonder it brought out several happy feet to the dance floor. Young at heart, the senior citizens surely enjoyed every minute of it.
